-Focus is now on tracking the women and children who were part of the original randomized controlled intervention study in order to investigate the long-term impact of in-utero and early life exposure to HAP.

-Regular weekly WebEx based calls continue to bring the Chicago and Ibadan teams together for the implementation of the project new goals.

-Plans are ongoing to explore expansion of the program to other communities with the intention of using the findings of the initial study to influence policy on home construction standards and advocacy for rural electrification.

-HLF supported the project by purchasing ethanol fuel for use by the study participants, as well as payment for the ethanol site.
